Food = Beer?
Yesterday was rather productive. I got a lot of internet work done early in the morning at my usual haunt, and helped Jess assemble her bedroom dresser later on (we had to improvise a bit since some of the parts were shipped broken.) By around 9 I got rather hungry and went to get some food. There was no food, so I had a beer instead.
Then I got to thinking, is this how it starts? Will I look...
Its September Soon
My mini vacation is coming to its end, and on Tuesday all hell breaks loose. I’ll be starting my day interning at the Weekly Dig, then DASHING to Bux where I have work til close, and hopefully I’ll fit in some time to update Underground for the day. Two first days on the same day. Wonderful!
Though my realization that time is going to be in short supply this year is difficult to...
Starbuccaneers
So I will try not to rant regularly on this blog, but I can’t help it.
Background: Starbucks offered $500 bonus to any employee working 10 hours a week until Sept 7th at my hometown store. I was told it was an AVERAGE of 10 hours a week, and that if I transferred I would still get it.
Fastforward: My Boston manager goes on vacation so I’m not put on the schedule for a week and a...

John McCain:
Can’t use the internet
Doesn’t remember how many houses he has
Suggests that Obama = Paris Hilton (WTF?!?)
Did I mention he can’t use the internet?
And yet… he has a 4 point lead?
I just don’t understand

Sweet Potato French Fries are easy.
They are also delicious.
Happy Thursday.

Shell Macaroni
Shells and Cheese is the worst type of macaroni and cheese. The shells always get stuck inside each other.
Screw that.
Back to School Lessons
Well I’m all settled in my new apartment on the Fenway. If you don’t know me that well, basically I’ve had this place since July 1st and have been gradually moving my stuff in since. It has taken a month and a half for all of this to be completed and for me to get my transfer for work, but it’s finally here!
That being said, after some first night festivities, I learned...
U-Underground
I’ve been putting a lot of work into Underground lately and it seems to be paying off, in traffic at least. The site is still a money pit, but I figure that will turn itself around in time. I have all these ideas brewing up for it, but we’ll see where it goes. Right now I’m thinking of ways to make it more fun for the staff and at the same time how to be ready to have all things...
Polaroid Returns
So you have probably heard the news already; Polaroid is bringing back their 4x3 prints. Though the classic film and cameras are still being discontinued, the company has announced that they are creating a new camera with their instant digital printing technology ZINK built in, that will shoot out the regular Polaroid sized rectangles we all know and love.

The Month Adventure
The month long move to Boston will be over friday and I will be (permanently) residing in my Fenway apartment once and for all.
It’s about time.
40 +
So this past week was pretty hellacious, in my hometown there was an annual festival that pulls in thousands of people from the surrounding towns. Normally this is fun and only gets annoying towards the end when you can no longer find a parking space within 8,000 square miles of your house.
It’s different when you work at the one Starbucks in the middle of downtown.
This year it got...
Mini Hiatus
My mini hiatus from the online world is based on 1. working 40 hours a week at the actual paying job I have due to scheduling prejudices of the manager, 2. family medical emergencies, and 3. the resulting exhaustion that leaves my brain sore without the ability to produce witter banter worth of publication.
I’m pretty sure that’s alright though.
I’ll be back soon viewer(s?).
