Dear World,

People who have a sense of style are not all hipsters. I am providing some images to clear up some misconceptions. I will, for your sake, use the common negative connotation of hipsters.

Example A: Yes A Hipster
Then What?: N/A

Notes: Note the in-style skinny jeans? Well not so fast; there is a very good chance they are covered in stains. And the shoes? A minimum of 10 years old. They claim they love music but they just rave about whatever Pitchfork is promoting at the time. Talk about books but never read.

Example B: Not a Hipster
Then what? A nice dressing barista/art student/photographer/etc.

Notes: See the tie? The nice, pressed, in style shirt and complimenting hat? This is no hipster, though many people group them all together for a style that echoes each other. This style brings to mind a simpler past. Also probably not a douche like Example A. Possibly an art student.
