So I will try not to rant regularly on this blog, but I can’t help it.

Background: Starbucks offered $500 bonus to any employee working 10 hours a week until Sept 7th at my hometown store. I was told it was an AVERAGE of 10 hours a week, and that if I transferred I would still get it.

Fastforward: My Boston manager goes on vacation so I’m not put on the schedule for a week and a half, on a daytrip back home to Newbport, my old manager says “Oh what a shame, you won’t get the $500 now.”
