So it would appear that the entire city of Boston is ill in some way. It started innocently, with a friend or classmate sneezing. Autumn allergies, I told myself, nothing to worry about.

How wrong I was.

Slowly the epidemic spread, and a growing number of students were absent from my classes, when ALAS! I woke up one morning with a voice a couple octaves lower, and a throat that didn’t seem to be having a good time.

There are a couple of reasons this is a problem:

1. I don’t like being sick since I’m no longer 15 (when I could get out of school or work)

2. It’s Friday and I’m just starting to feel better, dangerously close to the weekend

3. Being sick sucks when you’re poor and don’t have good sick food in your apartment.
