Two great things happened yesterday:

Obama was justly elected as the President of the United States

and

Three states unconstitutionally stole rights from United States citizens by banning gay marriage. Florida went so far as to ban civil unions as well, giving loving gay couples NO POSSIBLE WAY of visiting each other on deathbeds, recovering their bodies from other nations, having any tax benefits, or ever adopting a child. California broke the constitutional formation of a three branch system by invalidating a judicial decision, of which there is meant to be no greater decision maker. We have our systems for a reason, and they shat on it.

I feel conflicting emotions of pride for Obama and shame of the uneducated biases of fellow states.
